Heidi Root, MD Internal Medicine

Heidi is a Board-certified internist, specializing in the primary care of adults.  Born and raised in up-state New York, she attended Syracuse University, NYU Medical School and completed her residency at the University of Vermont.  Heidi is a Saco River Medical Group "original", having worked in the Mount Washington Valley since 1993.  She is well-known in the community, has been on staff at The Memorial Hospital in North Conway for many years, and serves in Haiti during her “free time.”  Children, grandchildren, gardening, reading and knitting fill her off-hours.
